I’m so jealous of the British and their penchant for beautiful millinery. Since today is the 135th running of the Kentucky Derby, and one of the few days Americans pull out their most fabulous hats, I thought I’d share some that would make perfect accessories for sunny outdoor weddings!
The first is simple and a bit backyard casual…
My favorite of the three, this Philip Treacy hat is glamorous and refined, and with the pink, is a touch unexpected…. Definitely makes me think Derby or Ascot.
And finally, this hat is much more fashion statement than it is practical, but it’s also the most veil-like of the three. A good alternative if you don’t want a true veil, but still want to feel “bridal”.
